Patients who underwent cementless short-stem shoulder arthroplasty experienced good functional and radiologic results at a minimum follow-up of 2 years, according to study results.

Researchers evaluated 52 patients with uncemented short-stem shoulder arthroplasties and analyzed their radiographs for inclination of the stem, filling ratio of metaphysis and diaphysis, bone remodeling around the stem, radiolucent lines around the glenoid and subsidence of the humeral stem.
